The word laastik describes what is born by stone and is driven by the greek ancient myth of Deucalion and Pyrrha.

Laas, meaning stone, encompasses the soil, the land. It stands beneath the light, imbued with hues from its surroundings. In its ruffles, the light vanishes.

Time, the captured and the living time, is inscribed within the stone.

Stone is shattered by the air, and burnished by the water. All the land and all the time, are portrayed in its shape and texture.

Man will face towards the stone. He will experience it with all his senses. Stone will be presented to man in the form of an event. For man, there is no image before the gaze. Thus, the stone is born along with his personal experience, with feel, audition, the mere and near observation. Man, at that instant, becomes the poet of the stone.

Stone comes to life with every gaze. Every moment, stone comes to life.

The moment man gazes at the stone is the precise moment man begets his perception of the world.
